Service Description

This treatment is highly effective and a versatile skin revision method that results in a very short time. ALKALINE WASH is a superior tool when treating difficult conditions such as age revision, acne, rosacea, folliculitis, pigmentation, and scar revision. Alkaline Resurfacing Treatments are always combined with DMK Enzyme Therapy An exclusive and unique DMK treatment that turns the skin’s natural slightly acidic pH to an alkaline state in order to increase the skin’s response to treatments and products. It works to swell, soften and dissolve unwanted dead skin cells that cause hyperpigmentation, signs of ageing, scars, razor bumps, acne as well as reduce unwanted hair. It also works to remove milia and revise rosacea and can be used on areas of the body. After an alkaline treatment, you can expect your skin to feel incredibly soft, silky and appear brighter with a more even skin tone. What you should feel? You will feel a cold sensation upon application of the Alkaline Wash. The area being treated will be kept moist until the Alkaline Wash is ready to be removed. You should feel a mild tenderness and mild stinging of the skin at this stage. This is to be expected. A neutralizer will be applied and immediately after ice will be applied to flush the neutralizer through the skin and reduce inflammation. The application melanin inhibiting and calming drops will follow, along with Actrol Powder and Enzyme Therapy. You may feel stinging and the skin may feel tender which is to be expected. This will subside quickly. A combination of amino acids, vitamins and mineral and anti-inflammatory serums and crèmes will be applied to restore the pH of the skin and to support the DMK Professional Skin Revision Treatment and the results. What to expect? The skin will feel rubbery and slippery. You may also experience some tingling with the application of the DMK serums and crèmes after the DMK Professional Skin Revision Treatment. This is to be expected and is normal. You may also experience some post-treatment sensations, which are common with your first DMK Professional Skin Revision Treatment and will not pose any long-term issues as long as you adhere to your full DMK Home Prescriptive program.

Cancellation Policy

Please provide us with at least 24-hour notice.  This way, we will be able to adjust our schedule accordingly and we may be able to accommodate clients on our waiting list.  We will endeavor to send out reminder text or emails 24 hours prior to your appointment. For some treatments we do charge a deposit on booking due to the therapists time and equipment being utilized for that time period. Unavoidable issues come up and we will do our best to work with you in case of an emergency. Last minute cancellations or ‘no shows’ will be charged a % of the treatment cost cancellation fee and for treatments where a deposit is paid, the deposit will be kept as the cancellation fee.
