Dermaplaning is a non-invasive skin treatment that uses a specific surgical blade that is designed to glide across the skins surface to remove any dead skin cells alongside removing peach fuzz. This gentle treatment reveals a fresh, healthy and glowing complexion. Dermaplaning is suitable for all skin types and is an excellent treatment to get rid of dead skin cells to promote healthy skin and improve texture. Depending on your skin, we typically recommend this skin treatment every 2-4 weeks to maintain the many benefits. Key benefits can include Smooths skin texture. Gently removes dead skin cells and fine fluffy hairs (removes peach fuzz) for a smoother skin surface. Nourishing Enhances the penetration of active ingredients from your at-home skincare products and skin treatments. Healthy radiant skin Supports general skin health, dull, uneven skin tone, congestion, and dehydration. Pre-Treatment 48 HOURS PRIOR No cosmetic injections in the treatment area 3 DAYS PRIOR No recent sun exposure and sunbeds Stop using cosmeceutical retinol and AHA/BHA 2 WEEKS PRIOR Topical prescription retinol must be stopped two weeks prior Must not have an active cold sore. No waxing, laser or IPL in the area. If you are/have taken Accutane, or any other acne drug, you must stop use 5 days prior to treatment Post-Treatment 1-5 DAYS POST Use SPF 50+ sunscreen Avoid use of cosmeceutical retinol Avoid Exfoliation

Cancellation Policy

Please provide us with at least 24-hour notice.  This way, we will be able to adjust our schedule accordingly and we may be able to accommodate clients on our waiting list.  We will endeavor to send out reminder text or emails 24 hours prior to your appointment. For some treatments we do charge a deposit on booking due to the therapists time and equipment being utilized for that time period. Unavoidable issues come up and we will do our best to work with you in case of an emergency. Last minute cancellations or ‘no shows’ will be charged a % of the treatment cost cancellation fee and for treatments where a deposit is paid, the deposit will be kept as the cancellation fee.
